Wendy is a Licensed Masters level Social Worker (LMSW) with a Masters Degree from the University of Kansas. She has been licensed for 8 years, and worked in this field for just over 10. Wendy also has a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies, and travels to different countries to provide support to refugees or others who experience high stress situations. Wendy specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety and depression.
Wendy has worked for the State of Kansas, KVC, SafeHome, KU and TFI. Through these employers she has had the opportunity to help families form strong and healthy relationships, as well as provide counseling to survivors of domestic violence, and displacement.
Outside of work Wendy enjoys nature, reading, watching her favorite shows, cooking and spending time with her family. Wendy is married, with one son, but is very close to her extended family, who she sees on a weekly basis.

Riley is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master’s Degree from The University of Kansas. Riley also has two Bachelor's degrees from The University of Kansas in Social Work and General Studies Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavioral Sciences.
Riley is also employed at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center as a School Based Therapist. She has experience intervening during crisis, providing therapy in a nontraditional setting and navigating systems to advocate for the needs of clients.
Outside of work Riley enjoys spending time with her fiance and friends. She also enjoys taking her dogs for walks, reading and football season.

Jami is a Licensed Master level Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master’s degree from the University of Kansas.
Jami specializes in working with individuals who are impacted by severe and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, and anxiety. Jami is also employed at Johnson County Mental Health as the state hospital liaison and as a mobile crisis response team clinician. She has a lot of experience working with people who are in crisis through answering 988 calls and outreaching individuals in-person at their homes.
Outside of work, Jami enjoys walking her dogs, running, watching Marvel and Harry Potter movies, and spending time with her family.

She has worked at the Leavenworth VA & DCCCA Inc as a substance abuse counselor and as a social worker at LDCHA Resident Services, & USD497 Lawrence Public Schools. Lynisha also volunteered at Headquarters Counseling Center as a crisis counselor for over a year.

Tayler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas. Tayler has been practicing social work since 2016. Tayler specializes in working with individuals impacted by grief. She has worked with hospice programs in nursing home settings. She has provided support groups for caregivers and those who are grieving.
Tayler also works closely with individuals who are grappling with the challenges of anxiety and depression. Through compassionate guidance and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, she offers invaluable support in helping individuals navigate their emotional struggles, fostering a path towards healing, resilience, and improved well-being.

Carlos Rivera is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas. Carlos has provided mental health services in a variety of settings including residential facilities, community mental health centers, schools and in home for seven years. Through this work Carlos has developed a passion for working with those who have experienced adverse or traumatic experiences and those who carry marginalized identifies.

Dusti is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist for both Kansas and Missouri, a Registered Play Therapist, a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist, an approved EMDR Consultant in Training and Level 2 trained in Brainspotting. Dusti is the Heartland Kansas Trauma Recovery Network coordinator offering early intervention services to members of the local police departments and to those who have been impacted by disasters. As a therapist her approach tends to be warm, authentic and direct.
Prior to pursuing her degree at Friends University she worked at Headquarters Counseling Center, the state receiver of the two national suicide prevention networks: National Hopeline Network and National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She can often be seen cheering on her favorite soccer players on the sidelines. She enjoys reading, gardening and being outdoors.

Thomas has years of experience completing mental health crisis work.
